Week 75 - Mexicali

Hey guys!!!
Love you all!

This week was good. Really busy. The weeks seriously fly by so fast.

We've been so busy with work lately that can't even see straight. We have the next 3 days absolutely filled with appointments. It's been ridiculous.

This week we had interviews with the President. He is so great!! I love that guy.

So anyways, that's about it. Loving the work and not going to stop for anything.

Love you!
Elder Morgan

P.S. we saw a lady this week that had one leg super swollen like the size of a tree stump. We also saw a dog eating his own excrement's.

Week 74 - This week

Family of mine!!!!!!!

Love you guys to infinity and beyond.
This week went by crazy fast.
We were super busy with a bunch of stuff but finding new people everyday. This week we found a really cool family that's stoked about the church. They've been looking for a church and they have been surprised so far with the many aspects of the church that we have explained to them. There is no other church on earth so organized. This is His church.
We also had the baptism of Raquel!!!! She was a Christian for 13 years, but after the first lesson she felt the Spirit and wanted to be baptized. She's been so great and now she's excited to keep working. We even took her out to teach with us days after her baptism! She still wasn't even confirmed! haha. God is preparing His children in special ways.
I know that this church is true. I know that the work we are doing is not any work but the work of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Love you all. I'm doing very well and trying not to think about the time I have left here. I don't want it to end.
Love,
Elder Morgan

Week 73 - Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite....

Family!!!!!

Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! !!! !  ! ! !! ! !

This week was great!

We just did some great work and took 9 people to church. The Lord is working miracles here.

One of the greatest miracles of this week was that we went with a lady who is getting ready to be baptized and she told us that she wouldn't be able to go to church on Sunday because the sales in her little second hand store in front of her house hadn't been that good due to the vacations and that she wasn't going to be able to have even money for the upcoming week. Well, I felt the Spirit really strong and I explained to her the promise that comes in Exodus 16. The Lord Promised the Children of Israel that He would send Manna down from the heavens and that every day they would be able to get a one days portion, but that on Saturday He would send a double portion so they wouldn't have to work on Sunday. I promised her as a representative of Christ that she would have a lot of business on Saturday and she would be able to go to church. So, then we went back on Saturday and I asked about the sales. She said they were slow and then said, "But the weirdest thing happened last night. I was counting all the money and doing the numbers and everything checked out, but then I reached into my pocket and pulled out 2 500 peso bills that I couldn't account for. I have no idea where they came from or how they got there in my pocket, but then I remembered your promise. I think God wants me to go to church." She went yesterday!

I know that God will bless us if we keep His commandments!

We made a homemade tandum bike

I love you all.

P.S. I have bed bugs.

Week 72 - This week

Hey there Family!!!!
Made Mickey and Minnie Pancakes for General Conference

Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was good. We went off to TJ on Tuesday and ate Pampas there. Woot! Meat! It was great. Then we had a meeting the next day. The mission is really doing well right now. Everyone has kicked it into high gear.
We really only had a few days to work due to Conference and everything.
Conference was great!!!!! I loved it so much. Sometimes it´s hard watching as a missionary because you´re just so exhausted every day and your body begs for rest, but your mind and spirit want to listen and understand. It was so great though. Got some really good revelation from it all!!!
Well, it´s a short one this week.

Mexicali

Hope that everyone had a great Easter weekend and was able to take some time to think about their Savior. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He paid the price for our sins and if we grow closer to Him, He can heal us. He can mend our wounds. He can clean and purify us of our sins. I know He lives. I know these things for myself.
Love you all!!!

Week 71 - March Madness

Hey there Fam!!!!

L.o.v.e. y.o.u. g.u.y.s.

This week was great. We had 3 baptisms this week. You remember Alexis and Elissa?? Well Elissa's parents and Alexis's mom got baptized!!! That completes the family!!!

It was such a great experience. They all bore their testimonies!!!! So strong was the Spirit!!!!! I love this family so much.

The zone here is doing well. We broke the record for this zone. The record was 19 and this month we had 25!!!! Wow. Things are just going so well. We're working hard and the work is being accelerated like never before! I love to see how The Lord is working here in Mexico! He's on His way here.

This week it's been super hot here. It's funny because everyone just tells me. "No, this is nothing, wait a few months." Ahhh!!!!! A little kid this week told me, "If you see a hobo in the street sleeping, he's probably not actually sleeping..." Haha. That's how hot it is here. But we drink lots of water and electrolytes!!

The ward was super impressed with our work this week. We baptized 3 and the other missionaries in the ward baptized 3 as well. The WHOLE SACRAMENT MEETING was filled with the confirmations and then they gave their testimonies!!! So cool. The Ward Council congratulated us and everyone is so excited because they're realizing that we can do great things here.

I love this work and can't wait to see how April goes! I doubt there are April showers here though.

Love you all!!!

Watch the video "That he lives" (Because He Lives) or something like that. I don't know the direct translation. It's so good!!!

Love you
