Week 88 - lots of walking and heat.

Family!!

Love you guys!

It was the best of weeks, it was the worst of weeks.

Okay, so it wasn't quite the best or worst of weeks, but it was pretty normal.

This week we were working in a new area that we haven't really worked in yet. We did a bunch of contacts and found some great people. Like a family of 7 that got baptized like 8 years ago and now they have 4 kids that can all get baptized. I know that God places the people in our paths when we work hard and gain His confidence. God loves us all, but he confides in very few of us.

Things are really going well here. We're working with the ward to get up and running with plans to help out in the mission effort.

What I've seen lately is that Satan is attacking this area because of the temple that's going to be dedicated. The Area presidency of Mexico even sent out a letter to all the wards asking that they could fast and pray for the safety of the temples. It's a whole 'nother ball game here in Mexico. People just don't have very much dicency sometimes. (My spelling has gotten so bad.)

Love you all so much!!!!

Week 87 - Humidity

Family!!!!!!

Love you all so much more than the humidity.

Hey,

It's been humid here. I mean hhhhhuuuuuuuuummmmmiiiiiiiiid.
I've basically been swimming around instead of walking this week.

There was also some flash floods yesterday here in TJ.

Anyways, apart from it being a sticky, sweaty, smelly week, it was a good one too because WE HAD A BAPTISM!

Yup. His name is Artemio. His conversion was really simple. He wanted to change his life and we just taught him true principles and he accepted everything!

We also had a great time on Monday. We went and did a family home evening at the bishops house with almost all of the ward. There were steak tacos, Jamaica water, and mariachi! It was great!

Times going fast, but I'm not slowing down.

Love you all!!!!!

Week 86 - Hey

Family!!!!!
Love you guys a ton!!!!!

This week has been good.

We got a new Ward Mission Leader called.

He's 23, has a mustache and beard, does meditation and has own Herbalife shop. haha
He always gives the investigators hugs and is great at motivational speaking. He's been helping us a lot. Will try and get a picture of him.

We also had a talk with a doctor who came to speak to the whole mission about the health of the missionaries.

Anyways, things are going well. Just trying to work as hard as I can for all the time that I have here.

Love you all!!!

Week 85 - This week

Family of mine!

All the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders

I love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was a pretty normal week.

The greatest part of the week though was having interviews with the Mission President. I sure do love my Mission President so much. He is such a hard working guy and so loving. He has helped me get motivated about the Gospel. He basically just told me in the interview that I was doing well and he thanked me for the work that I have put in so far.

I hope that you all are doing really great. Time is going by fast and I feel as if it's slipping through my fingers. Hopefully I can just keep working my absolute hardest until I'm done!

Love you all!!

Week 84 - Fast!

Family!!

Love you!!!

This letter is going to be fast because I didn't manage my time very well today! haha

Anyways, it's been going good here. Working with some families and trying to just gain a lot of confidence in the ward. This week we were busy with meetings, meetings and more meetings. The only day this week that we started working before 3 PM was Friday! That's how many meetings we had!!!

It's going really well though. I can't believe how time is flying. Does anyone know where the slow down button is????

This week the Bishop told me at 10:02 that I was going to give a talk. Church was supposed to start at 10:00... Whelp, I guess I can say that I've been able to develop the Gift of Revelation here on the mission because the Stake President came up to me after the meeting and told me I did a great job. Little did he know that I wrote it while everyone was singing the opening hymn!!

Anyways, love you all!!!

This church is true. God loves us and has restored His Gospel to the Earth in these latter days!!!

Love,
