Week 82 - Wow. The Weeks are flying by

I love you all!

This week was pretty good. We're just trying to work super hard here. It's tough because it's a tough area. Almost everyone has their own ideas about the church, but we're working with a few people that we hope can get progressing really well. 

This week I got to go do some exchanges with the Assistants and it went really well. 

We also had our stake conference this week. President Garcia, his wife, and one of the San Diego temple presidents came to speak. It was really good. Our goal right now is to start working more with the members here. We're going to be making family mission plans with all the families to help them share the Gospel! It should be good. 

I sometimes feel like that one black chick with all the yellow ones. :-)

Just want you all to know that this church is true! It's the greatest thing to be here as a representative of the Lord. I know that He is the one doing all the work. We are only instruments in His hands. May you all have a great week this week. Keep reading your scriptures!!!!!

Don't have much time!!!!

Had a great baptism this week of Flora and her nephew Eduardo!!!!! 

They're so great. 

Eduardo was sort of scared of the water because of a traumatizing event he had, but when he came up from out of the water he told me, "God said something to me under the water" He said he hadn't understood what he said, but that he was happy to be baptized and clean!!!! 

I know that this work is true. Heavenly Father guides us daily.

Week 80 - TJ or Blue Jay

This week has been busy and quick and I don't even know what we did.

We're getting this one really prepared family for their baptism coming up soon. We also had some great people in church. There are some new people that we're finding that are really great. This week we had our monthly report with the Stake President and were able to talk to him about some things that are going on. 

I really enjoy being happy. One thing that I've realized lately is that whether one is happy or not mainly depends on whether they choose to be happy. So just choose to be happy!!!! And you'll always be happy! :) 

Me and Elder Canche are just working our tails off. Sometimes I feel that we just spin our wheels without going anywhere, but then we see some great results and we are just so happy to be here.
